Persona 9H in a somewhat small room ?
By Patalbert, 25. November 2022, 23:11.
Hello,
I own a pair of Paradigm Persona 3f, which I like quite a bit, except that I find that I miss something in the lower frequencies. They are rated to play down to about 40 hz. I recently could listen to a pair of Persona 9h and indeed, there is a whole lot more low frequencies. I mean I could hear much lower frequencies, but not necessarily louder bass range.
I would really like to upgrade to a pair of 9h, that is if I can find a good deal in a used pair, but my listening room is somewhat small, being about 14' x 12' x 9'. Does anybody have experience with the 9h in such a small room?
I would most definitely keep these for a long time. I plan to move from our actual house in a few years and I would then choose a home that includes a larger listening room. By asking this question, I just want to make sure that I would not be too frustrated during the few years I would use the 9h is my current small room.
Thanks for sharing any advice/experience.
Regards,
Patrick
