Speaker relay issue?

By Newphy, 24. January 2023, 19:01.
Does anyone have details on which component goes out that does not allow the speakers to be switched on? And if so, details on how to replace it?

Thanks,
Dan

This is usually due to a faulty protection circuit. The circuit is meant to detect abnormal charges on the output and respond by releasing the relay. When the capacitors of the circuit wear out it is no longer able to keep the relays activated.

Of course there can also be other faults - including the protection circuit working as intended and the fault lying elsewhere. If this is the case the missing output may actually be saving your speakers.

I advice that you consult a technician.
